  Breakfast...

Breakfast is the best meal of the day.
Period.

If I could only choose one meal, it would be breakfast. I don't know why, but breakfast foods are simply more appealing to me than other meals. Sure, I adore pizza, and ribs, and Mexican food and a good hamburger. But give me eggs, ham, biscuits and hashbrowns and I will choose that first any time.

Today was a good example of a great breakfast:
Three scrambled eggs with red bell peppers, chesse and sausage.
(I gave trying to make a pretty omelet years ago)
An entire ruby-red grapefruit
A banana
A big glass of milk
A mug of Kona coffee
And last but not least, the Sunday comics.

I am in post-breakfast bliss at this time.

While we are on the subject of breakfast-click the link on the title to go to a great blog who reviews breakfasts at different restaraunts, complete with mouth-watering pictures.

Thanks for reading,

I hear ya on breakfast. Give me a big stack of buttermilk pancakes from IHOP with strawberry syrup. And whipped cream! Ah, sublime death by carbs... ;) Now I'm getting hungry. Here in New Mexico the big thing is breakfast burritos. People eat CHILE in the morning. HOT chile. Good God! Anyway, good to see you're back. I've been call center-free for about three months now and am enjoying my new life. It's really funny, though, how only four years in such an environment shapes you, sets your expectations, in terms of the workplace. It still amazes me on some level that I can visit the restroom *whenever I want* or take an unscheduled break without nasty complications. Kudos to you for keepin' on keepin' on. Sounds like you're one of the professionals in that field - the kind I always *longed* to actually work with but saw all-too rarely. Take care!

Thanks for stopping by-I'm with you on the Mexican breakfast. My favorite Mexican breakfast is Chiliquiles followed by los hotcakes...
